I'd like to see higher resolution photos of the movement to help identify it. It appears to me to be a Swiss ETA 2836-2 movement, like roughbarked said, rather than a Rolex movement. There's another very small post here about a Jules Rolez. Yours is a lovely French marble clock and known as a timepiece, meaning the movement is time only, no striking of the hours. As you might glean from the little info there is on Rolez , I don't think your clock is 1820-1850. Rolez was apparently active closer to 1900. However, I have found that I am having trouble replacing the clip, or "gib" that secured the jewel, mounted in its plate, to the axle.
